How much will I be charged if I overdraw my account or have insufficient funds?

Please contact your financial institution to discuss any potential overdraw fees or dishonour payment fees you may incur as these are set by your financial institution and can vary.

If you have arranged a direct debit and your account has insufficient funds at the time of processing, Discover Energy may charge you a dishonour payment fee and you may also incur a late payment fee.

If you know that you will not have sufficient funds in your account at the time of processing and cannot arrange for sufficient funds to be made available by your due date, please consider requesting a payment extension.
