When a tenant or owner moves out of their premises, they may disconnect their energy supply. As a result, before a new tenant or owner moves into a property, there may be need to reconnect energy to the site. In either circumstance, disconnecting or reconnecting, a fee will apply.
Further, unless a property is fitted with a remotely accessible smart meter, a special meter read may be necessary when moving into or out of a property. This is to ensure that your billing is calculated accurately.
