Fees and Charges - Victoria

Occasionally, there are fees and charges other than the consumption and daily supply charges that may be applied to your bill. They are different depending on the network distributors and the type of work required.  Any fees charged by the network distributor will be passed through to you on your bill. 

Important Information

  • Fees and charges vary based on the technical requirements, the location and time of the service. The fees listed below are for some of the more common services within business hours and including GST.
  • For a full list of fees and charges that may apply to services including disconnections or reconnections please see your network providers webpage (links below). These fees and charges will be passed through directly to you.

If you live in the United Energy area, here are the fees and charges effective from 1 August 2024

  1. Disconnection fee (site visit): $62.24
  2. Reconnection fee (site visit): $62.24
  3. Credit card payment process fee: 1% *
  4. Direct debit dishonour fee: $9.50 *

If you live in the Citipower area, here are the fees and charges effective from 1 August 2024

  2. Reconnection fee (site visit): $44.85

If you live in the Powercor area, here are the fees and charges effective from 1 August 2024

  1. Disconnection fee (site visit): $74.01
  2. Reconnection fee (site visit): $69.64

If you live in the Jemena area, here are the fees and charges effective from 1 August 2024
