Widespread flooding across South East QLD and NSW has resulted in supply interruptions across the networks. Distributors are working around the clock to restore power to properties where it is safe to do so.
Customers in the Energex distribution area are advised that if your home or business has storm damage, been flooded, or has other electrical issues please contact a licensed electrical contractor. The contractor will advise the distributor when it is safe to reconnect your power.
Please remain vigilant of dangers and keep a safe distance from damaged powerlines.
Routine scheduled work for distributors and metering providers are experiencing delays due to the ongoing emergency.
