How can I arrange a refund of my solar credits?

Refunds of solar credits are available for all of our customers and can be requested by contacting us via webchat or email at customerservice@discoverenergy.com.au. When requesting a refund, please bear the following terms and conditions in mind

  • A maximum of 4 refunds can be requested per calendar year.  Additional refund requests incur a $15 administration fee.
  • The minimum refund amount is $100
  • No accounts held by the same person can have an outstanding amount owing.  Solar credits can be used to pay accounts such as your gas account.
  • Refunds can only be done to a bank account registered on My Account.  You can update bank account details using our app or by logging in here.

If your request does not meet the above conditions, your request for a refund will be denied or an administration fee charged automatically depending on the situation.
